DESCRIPTION:What do you get when you put wheels on a zucchini? A silly Zucchini Car\, that’s what! \n     \nThe popular Zucchini 500 race is an annual race full of silly fun for all ages held at the Memorial Centre Farmers Market in late July. Minotaur hosts a zucchini car-making party the in-store before the races. \nThe 2024 Zucchini 500 is scheduled for Saturday July 20th (car-making party) and July 21st (race day). Stay tuned to this page for when online registration opens a couple weeks in advance. \nAs a silly race\, it is most certainly not a competitive race. Prize draws held throughout the event for all participants. The fastest car & maker receive bragging rights and a day with the coveted Zucchini 500 Champion Belt! \nLoyalist Area Scouts\, Minotaur Games & Gifts\, the Memorial Centre Farmers’ Market and Kingston Community Credit Union are the ultimate dream team making this event possible! \n…and for good measure\, here is a sweet video created for the Memorial Centre Farmers’ Market by Jake Hawley Visuals in 2016. \n \nREGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN AND CAR-KITS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE STORE FOR PICK-UP!
